About

The toddler years, with the science

toddcovery turns real developmental research into calm, do-it-today guidance for parents of 1–4 year-olds.

Parenting a toddler means making a hundred small decisions a day with very little sleep and a lot of conflicting advice. toddcovery exists to make a few of those decisions easier — by translating what developmental science actually says into something you can use before naptime.

What we believe

  • Science over scares. We reduce anxiety, never manufacture it. No “are you ruining your child?” headlines.
  • Honest about uncertainty. When the evidence is mixed, we say so — that’s a feature, not a weakness.
  • Warm, never preachy. We meet you where the day actually is: tired, 5pm, tantrum in aisle seven.

Who’s behind it

toddcovery is written by a team — including a developmental psychologist and a researcher in developmental psychopathology — alongside parents living the toddler years right now. Every claim traces back to peer-reviewed research, real parent experience, or both.

One important note. toddcovery is educational, not medical advice. It does not diagnose. If something about your child worries you, your pediatrician is the right first call.
